Hmm...so yesterday, i went for a trip to Miri with my sister and some of our friends (there are at least 14 of us i think...). Anyway, so...we embarked on this journey to Miri at around 4.30pm and we decided to stay one night there. Our trip to Miri was actually to see this mini concert held by one of the church committee there in Miri, the concert featured one of the catholic priest from New York who happened to be doing a concert during the WYD 2008 in Sydney recently. So...well the trip was actually quite fun, we used three car (Mitsubishi - driven by Samsul, Suzuki - by Robin and Pajero - by Rita) (I'm quite amaze by how Rita drove the Pajero, considering she's petite and much shorter than i am....er, almost the same height as i am - she can really drive that car and very fast too - AMAZING!!!). So, i don't know what happened during the trip but as i mentioned it was fun right? OK, it's fun because we made it into some kind of a race...you know like who reached Sungai 7 post first and to Miri. So during this trip, we try to overtake each other as much as possible to get the 1st place (although there's no prize!!). In the end, we (me, my sister, Nick and Robin - he's our driver) won the race! followed by Rita and finally Samsul.
Anyway, enough about that. Let's just skip to the concert and Miri. So we reached Miri at around 6.50pm just as the concert was about to start and well...what can i say, when we enter the hall where the concert was held, it was already quite full!!! Luckily we were able to find several spot to sit and watch the concert. The concert lasted for about an hour and a half and all i can say is that it was not bad...I'm not saying that it's boring and dull but OK Ok lar...So after the concert, we go eat some late night dinner, (we miss our dinner because of the concert) and then it's back to the Imperial Hotel apartment or rather suite?? I'm not really sure and we have some kind of a wild party...we have foods, drinks (mind you...soft drinks) and karaoke contest...it was fun, it was wild and gila-gila one, oh...and lots of laughing too...everyone was having a good time...
So...i mentioned that we only go there for one nite rite? Well we did, since its not puasa in Brunei, so there's no holiday today and people got to work and so we all have to rush to go home this morning. Everyone have to wake up at 5am, and upon awakening everyone look tired and sleepy...(just imagine, partying until 3am and then wake up at 5am, what do you think?), anyway, this is the time when all of us started to rush and not to mentioned started to panic...you wouldn't believe the panic going on this morning...*sigh*. Anyway, luckily all of us manage to get home to Brunei on time i think...( i know we did, we follow *Samsul this morning - thank you very much ah Samsul...i mean it from the bottom of my heart)
*We ( me and my sister were supposed to follow Robin on our trip home but something unavoidable happened) and so we have to follow Samsul on the trip home.
Anyway...to Robin, i hope we don't let you down, i know that last night the plan was to go home to Brunei with you, following you but er....as you know with the rush and everything this morning we didn't do that. Anyway very sorry ah Robin.....i mean it, i hope your not disappointed.
Ok, that's enough...that's all for today.
bye. (",)
* i would've like to post some pics but unfortunately, i don't have...I'm too malas to take pics yesterday...sorry bout that....
